At present, many calculations closely related to the strength analysis of structures are performed using the finite element method (FEM). A less frequently used approach for structural analysis and optimization is the probabilistic approach, namely Probabilistic Method SBRA (Simulation Realibity Assessment Method (SBRA). The aim of this paper is to determine the probability of failure of a steel structure based on knowledge of bending moments and shear forces calculated using both methods and to compare obtained results.
