Dynamics of rotating machines by the modal synthesis method
Original language description
The modal synthesis method for assembling of a reduced mathematical model of the rotating machines is discussed. The method is based on the system decomposition into rotating subsystems and housing joined by discrete linearised couplings. The reduced modby means of the master undamped vibration mode shapes of the subsystems, is used for modal analysis, steady state vibration excited by kinematic errors in gear meshings and simulation of vibration excited by a compression pressure pulsation of the screw
