For the needs of application of response spectrum method in seismic analysis of WWER 440 primary loop the specific technique has been developed. In comparison with Gupta approach the theory reflect the above mentioned possibilities of modelling of pipingThe modal analysis method of non-classic damped system with frequency dependent viscodampers has been used. For the illustration the response a basic "two DOF" system with linked damper has been calculated and discussed.
