Original language description
A number of studies for the long-term and automated indirect measurement of arterial pressure have been presented. In all of these, the systolic and diastolic pressure can be obtained only intermittently The main point of the present paper is to describea new solution of the continuous and non-invasive measurement of both beat-to-beat systolic and diastolic pressure and pressure waveform in the human finger using a modified indirect unloading measurement technique of Peňáz.
