Original language description
Some digital versions of a new class of continuous-time filters called asymptotic filters are studied in the contribution. A class of finite order continuous-time linear time-invariant asymptotic filters optimized with respect to the performance index defined as the filter output error signal energy is considered. The discretization and digital realization problem of the given class of filters is the main topic addressed. Some simulation results are shown for illustration and for comparison with standard digital filtering results.
