Progressive failure analysis of FRP panels with cracks

Original language description

Numerical model for progressive failure analysis of fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) panels was designed. Simulation of material degradation and subsequent ultimate failure is performed using non-linear finite element analysis code. The location of initialdamage of individual plies is detected using ply-by-ply analysis. Result for selected configurations are presented.
