    High-frequevency pulsation of steam and vibration of the piping system on 1000 MW SKODA turbine required new view on construction of control parts of the turbine. Several variants of valve channel geometry were tested. The original alternative of the valve with shaped plug was compared with the valvecharacterized by flat-bottom-plug and a muffler.
