Original language description

The increased metabolic rate during exercise requires an appropriate increase in O2 flow into the muscles. Simultaneously, the CO2 produced by the muscles must be removed. Heart rate, pulmonary ventilation, breathing frequency and blood pressure are measured during the examination. From these data, many of other standard parameters are calculated. In this paper, the system for automatic cardiopulmonary examination measuring and evaluating is described. Application of this system is possible in work medicine, sport medicine and rehabilitation.
