Simulation of the cooling of a brake disk

Original language description

This study deals with numerical and analytical solution of the cooling of the brake disk in a passenger car. The computer simulation counts the effect of the rib break disk on the mass flow rate and the cooling time. The simulation was computed by the CFD program system Fluent. At the end of this study, three possibilities of reaching a shorter cooling time are shown.
