In this paper, the stochastic method Exodus for solving inverse transient heat transfer problems is presented. Theoretical background of the method is shown in relation to heat trasnfer problem. Temperature evaluations in direct and inverse problem are presented. The method application is shown on the example of determination of sample surface temperature and heat flux in HVOF thermal spraying technology.

V příspěvku je představena stochastická metoda Exodus pro řešení inverzní úlohy přenosu tepla. Jsou ukázány teoretické základy metody ve vztahu k úlohám přenosu tepla. Je představeno vyhodnocení teploty v úlohách přímých a nepřímých. Aplikace metody je ukázána na příkladě určování povrchové teploty vzorku a povrchového tepelného toku do vzorku v technologii HVOF.
