Six-Year-Old Child Model in Frontal Sled Test
Original language description
The paper deals with demonstrations of a six years old child model. The model called Bobby belongs to the family of human rigid body models Robby created within a computational environment of the PAM system. First of all, the Bobby is updated, the geometry and material properties of the original model are improved, and in particular, joints including their characteristics are redefined. The updated model is tested in a sled test environment. Due to lack of experimental data with child cadavers, the testis compared to an experiment with six years old Anthropomorphic Test Device published in available literature sources.
