Investigation of local mechanical properties of zirconium alloys using nanoindentation
Original language description
Samples from Zr1Nb alloy were tempered after various temperatures and various times prior to hardening. This process simulated the LOCA (Loss of Coolant Accident) conditions when due to a broken pipe, water flows out. This paper presents the evaluation of local mechanical properties on samples after this simulation proscess. The indentation hardness and indentation modulus of elasticity were evaluated by nanoindentation method.
