    Collision of standing occupant in railway vehicle

    The goal of this work is to analyze the collision of standing occupant in rail way vehicle. The impact of standing human body is commonly considered by simulation of pedestrian accident. The collision of standing occupant in vehicle is very different andthis kind of accident is not simulated frequently. Today the structures of railway vehicles are designed with regard to the requirements of passive safety. The parameters of railway vehicles structural crashworthiness are specified in the standard CSN EN 15227. For human-friendly vehicles it is also important the safety of interior and this issue is actually solved by many scientists. The main result of this work is assessment of injury risk. For the current work it is used mathematical model of humanbody "VirtHuman" suitable for general purpose. This model is based on MBS architecture and allows obtain quite suitable results in short computational time.
