Original language description
The paper summarizes the results of experiments focused on the re-melting of HVOF sprayed NiCrBSi coatings on steel substrate. Two different methods of laser re-melting were used. First uses a direct diode laser with spot dimensions 1 x 12 mm and power up to 4 kW. The second method uses a solid state disc laser with spot diameter 800 ?m and power up to 5,3 kW in combination with scanning head which allows fast displacement of laser spot. The main objectives of the presented paper are the study of processing parameters and comparison of the two used technologies.
