    Some fundamental and historical aspects of solid-state phenomenological kinetics are reviewed from historical and renewed viewpoints including the formulation of kinetic equation and its extension to nonisothermal kinetics including the survey of kineticmodels. Kinetic data through thermal analysis measurements are treated for various types like isonconversional, one step, etc. Interpretation of kinetic results is dealt with including complex processes and mutual interdependence of resulting kinetic data.
