Condensation of steam with chemical impurity in a turbine cascade
Original language description
The approach used in the paper for the condensation of flowing steam is based on the binary nucleation of water and a representative chemical impurity NaCl. The physical and mathematical models are briefly describedThe binary nucleation numerical model is then used for the calculation of steam flow with condensation in the 2D nozzle-blade cascade of the first wet stage of the low-pressure part of a condensing 200 MW steam turbine. Calculations of the flow in the cascade at high and low expansion rates are presented.
