Application of Euler parameters for the development of MBS human body model
Original language description
This paper deals with spatial dynamics of a human. The human body is model within the multibody principle as a system of rigid bodies constrained in kinematic tree structure. Purpose of this work is in application Euler parameter instead of Euler anglesfor the spatial motion parametrization. Three Euler angles are widely used approach for the motion; however they suffer with singular position and consequently the ill-numerical stability. Therefore 4 Euler parameters are investigated here. Despite the fact of increasing the number of variables, such principle brings some advantage in the numerical solution of the equation of motion.
