Emissivity analysis of bulk materials at high temperatures
Original language description
In this technical report, there are presented analyzed samples, measurement equipments and measurement procedures along with emissivity determination procedures for two emissivity variables - spectral normal emissivity and band effective directional emissivity. The main part of the report is devoted to the emissivity results. The analyzed samples are prepared from the bulk metal and ceramic materials. Except the bulk materials, one coating deposited on the metal substrate and one coating deposited on the ceramic substrate is also analyzed. The spectral normal emissivity should be measured with the increasing sample temperatures from 700 to 980°C, the band effective directional emissivity should be analyzed at temperatures from 700 to 1000°C under the angle of emission from 10° to 80° with step of 10° from the normal of the surface. The spectral normal emissivity is evaluated including uncertainty.
