    Nature-Inspired Electrodes for Flexible Supercapacitors

  • Original language description

Flexible supercapacitors represent advanced energy devices with the potential to facilitate major progress in revolutionary electronic applications especially concerned with energy storage. The governing fundamentals for flexible supercapacitors are analogous to the conventional capacitors, however additionally feature with high charge storage and flexibility with small resistance of electroactive electrodes, thereby yielding elevated capacitive performance. Flexible supercapacitors are projected to serve as energy storage devices in the futuristic devices to condense reliance on fossil fuels and to subject attention towards renewable options. As nature is full of surprises, the tendency of natural, renewable, non-toxic and biodegradable energy storing materials can provide a major boost to energy storage devices. This chapter is subjected to the development of such naturally inspiring materials as flexible electrodes in supercapacitors.
