Original language description
t is important to study this material to clarify the influence of asbestos on the health of the local population in the region. The aim of this work is to estimate the amount of asbestos in the sediment in the Pilsen region. The main objective is to determine the presence of asbestos from a series of samples and determine its exact type. Samples taken from several locations were analyzed using a scanning electron microscope and X-ray diffraction analysis. Our measurements showed the occurrence of asbestos in the sediment of a given locality and his types. The main conclusion of this work is that the occurrence of asbestos has been confirmed in all samples, even its more dangerous species, which can cause very serious diseases.
