    Induction heating of thin sheets in transverse harmonic electromagnetic field

  • Original language description

    The paper deals with the numerical solution of the induction heating of nonmagnetic sheets whose thickness is negligible with respect to their remaining sizes. Distribution of the Joule losses in the sheet heated by perfectly transverse electromagnetic field is solved by means of an integral equation for the eddy current density. The task is formulated as a stationary or non-stationary quasi or hard-coupled problem, respecting dependence of different material properties on the temperature.
