The Status of the Romany Woman in the Family and in Society

  • Original language description

The aim of the survey study is to highlight the changes in the status of the Romany woman in the fmily and in society. The status of the Romany woman had always been one of subordination to the Romay man. Currently we are seeing efforts of emancipatiionod Romany women in the family. The status of the Romany woman in society seems to be changing at a somewhat slower pace than her status in the family.
