Original language description
The reproductive period of woman is characterized by not only maturity, but also fertility, which the woman performs its biological mission. Pregnancy is a physiological period in which a new organism develops in the mother's body and the woman is preparing for a new role - the role of mother. This period is characterized by physiological changes in the body with the need to adapt to them, as well as physical and mental preparation for childbirth, postpartum and care of child. Pregnant therefore requires special medical care provided by gynecologists and obstetricians in cooperation with midwives, but also by community nurses. Now the quality of prenatal care can greatly influence the parturition and postpartum period. The aim of this paper is to characterize the needs / problems of women with physiological pregnancy in relation to the providing of community care in the perinatal period with the use of the Omaha System.
