Original language description
Aviation technology that fulfils above-standard tasks in ensuring the safety of life and health of persons is an important resource for dealing with emergencies. The aim of this paper is to reflect and compare the development of the emergency medical services in the Czech Republic in its specialization section – the Air Rescue Service. The development of the Air Rescue Service is divided into two basic periods. The first development phase is focused on implementation until the end of 2016, and the second period is characterized in terms of the current development from the beginning of 2017. Part of the elaboration of the topic is the specification of the current operators of the Air Rescue Service. A historical-comparative analysis, synthesis and comparison are used as methods of researching the Air Rescue Service in the Czech Republic.
