Security of critical information infrastructure and possible disruption as a crisis
Original language description
This article focuses on the security of critical information infrastructure, and its possible disruption as a crisis in general – and by the conditions in the Czech Republic. In addition to noticeable benefits, the development of modern information and communication technologies brings an increased risk of misuse of these technologies, and attacks aimed at these technologies and the information with which these technologies work. The disruption of the availability, confidentiality or integrity of a critical information infrastructure can have far-reaching and severe consequences. This paper aims to process the characteristics of a possible crisis - a security breach of critical information infrastructure. Another goal is to carry out a systematic reflection on the potential consequences of such a crisis. One of the principles of the state's cyber security system principles is individual responsibility for the security of its systems and networks.
