The use of some microelements at the dairy cows feeding and their milk quality
Original language description
Zinc and selenium are very important elements for they influence metabolism, protein synthesis, growth and recovery of cells etc. In 2000-2001 we performed the experiment with supplementing the zinc and selenium chelate on dairy cows. We collected the samples of blood plasma, urine, feces and fell from experimental group and watched metabolic indexes and content of zinc, milk yield and presence of ketosis. The blood plasma test showed higher level of alcalic phosphatase, which content in the body depends on content and availebility of zinc. Its higher content from long term point of view can positively affect foot condition, total metabolism and thus overcome difficult period after calving. Supported by CEZ J06/98: 122200002/5.
