Dynamics of species richness of extensive pastures in different zones of landscape relief
Original language description
In the years 1993-2000, the problems of species richness development of grassland communities (union Cynosurion Tüxen 1947) in the central part of the Šumava Mts. (Nové Hutě, 980-1,040 m a.s.l.) were studied under the conditions of eliminated fertilization and extensive pasture exploitation by beef cattle, considering different locations of these cenoses in landscape relief (accumulation, transport and infiltration zones). The best conditions for dynamic increase of species richness are found in the growths in the transport zone (increase from 22 to 58 species) at long-term progressive increase of values of marginal species richness as well as resilience of species richness increase. In accumulation and infiltration zones the dynamics of species richness increase became considerably lower 5 years after elimination of fertilization.
