Genetic diversity of Czech Red cattle and other Red cattle breeds
Original language description
The genetic diversity is an important index of maintaining of the internal difference, namely in endangered genetic reserves. We analysed the genome (codying and non-codying loci) at Czech Red cattle and compare it to the Polish and German Red Cattle. The internal genetic diversity at Czech Red cattle was found to be not restricted. In German Red cattle, Polish Red Cattle and in Czech Red x Czech Spotted crossbreds the diversity seemed to be lower. Research supported by CEZ J06/98:122200004
