Roční bilance kationtů v malých povodích na Šumavě.

  • Original language description

The concept of the landscape efficiency was to test methods for evaluation of matter losses and thermal distribution and to verify relevance of the concept in real catchments of relative small size (cca 200ha) under different anthropogenic impact. Precipitation, matter losses, solar energie distribution and biomass production were systematically monitored from 1996. The Mlýnský catchment has been drained and is used for agriculture (pasture). The Bukový catchment is overgrown by secondary forest and theHorský catchment is overgrown by forest and the rest is fallow land, mostly wetlands. The Mlýnský catchment can be characterised as drained, the Horský as non-managed and the Bukový as forested. Were used data (of precipitation, average flow rate and elements concentration in water outflow, anual net production of above-ground biomass and amount of cations (Ca, Mg, Na, K) bound in the biomass) from the hydrologic year 2000 for calculation of annual budget of cations in individual catchm
