Original language description

The paper deals with days open evaluation in Czech Pied and Holstein cattle. Presented results confirmed that the period of days open is steadily getting longer in both breeds. Czech pied cows showed more desirable performance than Holstein ones (101,93days in Czech Pied compare to 111,95 in Holstein). The effects of year and month of calving, herd, age of cow at calving and breed of cow were found to be significant (p<0,0001). The number of days open was lower when calving took place during June-September and the age of cow at calving ranged between 23-27 months.

Příspěvek přináší hodnocení délky servis periody u českého strakatého a holštýnského skotu v ČR. Výsledky potvrzují neustálé prodlužování tohoto ukazatele u obou plemen. Příznivější hodota byla zjištěna u českého strakatého skotu (101,93 dnů ve srovnáníse 111,95 u holštýna). Vliv roku a měsíce otelení, stáda, věku krávy při otelení a její plemenné příslušnosti byly hodnoceny jako statisticky vysoce výzamné. Inseminační interval byl kratší po červnovém - zářijovém telení a u plemenic ve věku 23 - 27 měsíců.
