We tested a holistic concept of landscape efficiency (ETR model by Ripl) on the example of three catchments with different land covers and ways of farming in the area of right bank of Lipno dam. We then evaluated solar energy dissipation, season dynamicsof water outflow and amount of matter in outflowed water on the condition of vegetation structure. The results gathered in the area of three small catchments in the Šumava mountains confirm that the holistic concept of landscape function evaluation canbe considered as a perspective for assessment of landscape complexes with the use of remote sensing methods, network of hydrological and hydrochemical monitoring and analysis of agricultural activities in the landscape area. The monitored parameters, important for holistic evaluation of landscape functions, prove a high degree of their mutual relationships and correlations.

Na příkladu třech povodích s rozdílným krajinným pokryvem a způsobem hospodaření v oblasti lipenského pravobřeží byl testován holistický koncept účinnosti krajiny (ETR model, Ripl 1995). Na povodích byly hodnoceny množství a kvalita srážek a v závislostina antropogenním ovlivnění krajiny a na stavu a struktuře vegetace pak disipace sluneční energie, sezónní dynamika odtoku vody a množství látek v odtékající vodě. Výsledky získané v oblasti pravého břehu Lipna potvrzují, že holistický koncept hodnocenífunkcí krajiny lze považovat za perspektivní pro hodnocení krajinných celků a to při využití metod dálkového průzkumu země, sítě hydrologického a hydrochemického monitoringu a analýzy hospodářských aktivit v krajině. Sledované parametry, důležité pro holistické hodnocení funkcí krajiny, potvrzují vysoký stupeň jejich vzájemných vazeb a korelací.
