The observation was performed in brick buildings for dairy cows breeding. The stabling was reated as lose boxes with litter (made from separated slurry) and with grid dung-passage. The aim of the work was assessed evaluation the availability of separatedslurry used as a plastic litter from the animal hygiene points of view. During experiment was ascertained, that cleanness of the body surface of animals were at very good level and there were not founded negative impact at the animals health. The technology of separation slurry with biothermal warm up by the method of controlled composting was showed significant devitalization effect on parasites and microorganisms. On the basis of our results it is possible to note, that the welfare of dairy cows wereby using separated slurry as plastic litter at very good level.

Czech description

Pokus proběhl ve zděných objektech pro chov dojnic. Ustájení bylo řešeno jako volné boxové s podestýlkou ze separované hovězí kejdy a roštovou hnojnou chodbou. Cílem práce bylo posoudit vhodnost použití separované kejdy jako plastické podestýlky z hlediska vybraných zoohygienických aspektů. Bylo zjištěno, že nedošlo k narušení zdravotního stavu ustájených dojnic. Úprava separované kejdy biotermickým zahřátím formou řízeného kompostování prokázala významné devitalizační vlivy na parazity i mikroorganismy. Z hlediska tepelné vodivosti byla separovaná kejda vyhodnocena jako velmi vhodný materiál pro použití jako plastická podestýlka. Na základě zjištěných údajů je možno konstatovat, že podmínky welfare ustájených dojnic byly při použití separované kejdy jako plastického steliva na dobré úrovni.
