Original language description
The aim of the study was to evaluate the effect of preventive application of a polycoposite homeopathic remedy in a group of 548 calves at 21 days of age. For the experiment a herd with conventional management in current operationg conditions was applied. We compared morbidity in the control and experimental group. A marked trend of a reduction in the frequency of diarrhoea occurrence in the calves of experimental group was found. The morbidity in the experimental group decreased at 5.46 %. However thestatistical significance of the effect of the applied homeopathic remedy was not proved - in the evaluation by x2-test one-tailed p-value 0.1163 was caldulated.
