The comparison between water quality monitoring results by normal and extreme runoff conditions
Original language description
The quality of water is always associated with the runoff, which is composed of three components - surface, underground and hypodermic. The resulting water quality in the rainfall-runoff events is closely linked to the dominant component of runoff. Therefore, knowledge of dependence of water quality during these events in relation to the geomorphology of the terrain, the definition of recharge sites, landscape structure and way of management is often discussed problem in the literature. Contribution tothis issue is also this study. The main aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of landscape structure on various water quality indicators, especially at high flow rates. Other objectives of the study were to evaluate the influence of other factorsthat affect the changes in the concentration of selected water quality parameters during the monitored rainfall-runoff events. This article is based on results of grant of Ministry of Agriculture of Czech Republic QI91C200 Evaluation of c
