The experiment took place at two experimental areas in piedmont areas of Mountain Šumava (Vysoký Chuchelec and Rojov). Each of these two areas was divided into fertilized and unfertilized parts. On the fertilized areas was used NPK fertilizer type at a dose of 100 kg.ha-1. Samples were evaluated for ash, fat, neutral detergent fiber (NDF) and crude protein (CP) by method NIR. The aim was to demonstrate the effect of different nitrogen fertilization on forage spectrum in 2 cut monitored for 2 years. Theresults were statistically evaluated. The results shows that seconds cuts have better nutritional content than the first cuts. The content of basic nutrients in samples of pasture vegetation from unfertilizer plots has optimal values.
