The aim of this trial was to assess the relationship between housing of animals and their overall comfort and determine how the type of technology housing affects cattle welfare. This experiment was carried out on a commercial dairy farm located in the Central Bohemia region of the Czech Republic. Ethological monitoring of selected parameters has been observed in 15 of the animals. They were divided into 3 groups according to lactation. It was made ethogram analysis of data on behaviour (lying, standing, rumination...) in tables and graphs. The resulting values were assessed whether housing technology affects welfare animals.
