Abstraction, Intentionality, and Moderate Realism: The Ontology and Epistemology of Universals in Francisco Suárez and John Poinsot
Original language description
The study compares the epistemology and ontology of universals in the theories of two Baroque authors, namely F. Suárez and J. Poinsot. It treats also the issue of the ontological status of objective concept (conceptus objectivus) and the theories of intentionality in both authors in the relation to their specific versions of moderate realism.
