Original language description
The article focuses on the concept of rituals in contemporary Catholic and Protestant liturgical studies. It is written as a dicussion between Protestant practical theologian Tabita Landová and Catholic liturgical theologian Michaela Vlčková. The autors bring to the debate two liturgical traditions in which the issue of ritual has been evaluated in very different ways. However, in recent yaers it has been possible to perceive significant rethinking of the concept of rituals on bouth sides and an increasing respect of the diverse role of rituals and ritual imagination in the life of churches.
