The Parable about a Man Who Killed ⲙⲉⲅⲓⲥⲧⲁⲛⲟⲥ (Gos. Thom. 98)
Original language description
The Parable about a Man Who Killed ⲙⲉⲅⲓⲥⲧⲁⲛⲟⲥ (Gos. Thom. 98) is one of those sayings of the Gospel of Thomas, which have no parallel in the New Testament Gospels, although there are some parables in the Synoptic Gospels, the message of which can be comparable to that of the logion 98. The article deals with both their relation and the synchronic explanation of this parable in the context of the Gospel of Thomas as well as in the narrower connection with two preceding parables of the Woman and Leaven (Gos. Thom. 96) and the Woman with a Jar (Gos. Thom. 97).
