According to our data, we can distinguish two strategies of hunting behaviour of our kestrels: (1) urban kestrels hover and change hunting grounds frequently, (2) rural kestrels hover and change hunting grounds by lower frequency, and instead they use long-term perching. Hunting success was similar for both rural and urban kestrel population.

Z výsledků vyplývá, že obě populace využívají rozdílné strategie v loveckém úsilí: (1) městské poštolky častěji střídají loviště na periferii města a vykazují vysoký podíl třepotání, (2) venkovské poštolky loví většinu času v okolí svého hnízda a vykazují nízký podíl třepotání. Zároveň však nebyly zjištěny rozdíly v lovecké úspěšnosti obou studovaných populací.
