Mathematical Model of Synchronization of Behaviour in the Group of N Animals
Original language description
The animals sharing common space often benefit from behavioural synchronization i.e. from making a behavioural switch at the same time. Each of N animals in the group has its individual ideal switch time. These points are usually not the same. Thereforefor each animal there is the trade-off between the need to synchronize and the need to stick to the individually ideal time. In the present model we describe the synchronization of an animal in the group of N animals. The measure of synchronization is defined by the set of model parameters corresponding with maximum of individual benefit.
