The identity of Aspidimorpha quadriremis Gyllenhal (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae: Cassidinae)
Original language description
Aspidimorpha quadriremis (Gyllenhal in Schönherr, 1808) is used as valid name for A. tecta Boheman, 1854 based on type material study and a lectotype designation is given for it here. Moreover, author and year of description is corrected for the first time here.Following new synonyms are proposed: A. quadriremis (Gyllenhal in Schönherr, 1808) = A. tecta Boheman, 1854, syn. nov. = A. silacea Boheman, 1854, syn. nov. Due to the new synonymy Cassida cincta Fabricius, 1781 becomes unnamed because of homonymy with C. cincta De Geer, 1775, and thus Aspidimorpha fabricii nom. nov. is proposed for it here.

Identita druhu Aspidimorpha quadriremis Gyllenhal (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae: Cassidinae)
