The results of botanical research of Malý Pařezitý fi shpond in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands are introduced. The locality represents the complex of well-preserved marshy vegetation around the oligotrophic fi shpond such as littoral vegetation, ash-alder forests, peat bog etc. The floristic and phytosociological research was carried out occasionally in 1992, 2006 and then during all vegetation season in 2007. Overall, 228 species of vascular plants were found in this locality during our research. Nineteen species of vascular plants included in the Czech Red List (Procházka 2001) were found. The most important is occurrence of critically endangered Moneses uniflora. This mountain species occurs along the stream in spruce forest. The numerous populations of the rare and endangered species Utricularia minor, Lysimachia thyrsiflora, Calla palustris, Soldanella montana, Potentilla palustris, Valeriana dioica, Tephroseris crispa, Circaea alpina, Veronica montana were recorded there.
