Original language description
Two, in Czech republic rare species of water bugs, new for the insect fauna of the Novohradské Mountains, backswimmer Notonecta maculata (Notonectidae) and water boatman Sigara (Microsigara) hellensi (Corixidae) were found. The backswimmer Notonecta meridionalis (Notonectidae), also rare in the Czech Republic, was repeatedly collected in this area as well. This unique sympatric occurrence of all three mentioned species was noted in the locality with a relatively high anthropogenic load in some respects.
