The use of yoga technigues,physical,breathing and relaxation exercises seems to be effective in a training process,mainly for significant positive changes in overall self-perception and self-efficacy. Significant positive changes in the experimental group have to do with the perception of one´s own body, self-perception and in particular the acceptance of one´s self,not only on a real (contemporary) level but as well on an ideal (futura) level in the sense of "to be better!. This changed self-image is the result of cognitive,emotional and social variables thatthe athletes absorb during the program.
