The contribution briefly evaluates internal migration of the population in Southern Bohemia Region in the 1990s from a view of the main trends in the whole Czech Republic at first. It deals predominantly with the impact of migration on the changes of theeducational structure of population in the given area. When evaluating it, we used aggregated indicator - index of education level. Analysis is made from a view of new territorial administrative structure - so called "small districts" and groups of municipalities according population size too.

Czech description
Jedním z nových fenoménů 90. let v ČR je rozvoj suburbanizace u největších měst. Příspěvek se zabývá analýzou migrační bilance obcí v zázemí ČB a také hodnotí vybrané strukturální charakteristiky migrantů. Cílem je ověření hypotézy, že suburbanizační procesy jsou v tomto období patrné také v prostoru českobudějovické aglomerace.
