We studied the hind wing venation of twenty two species of waterr boatmen (Corixidae) from Central Europe. The patterns we found are compared and figured. Although the architecture of the hind wings of Cymatiainae and Corixinae is relatively uniform, wefound interspecific differences in both characters and morphometrics among genera and subgenera. Differences between congeneric species are small. We found no distinct hind wing autapomorphies for genera and subgenera, but noted possible anagenetic trends for wing structure in these Glades. We propose a reinterpretation of corixid hind wing venation linked to the hind wing morphology of the Hemineoptera.

Zadní křídla vybraných druhů klešťanek (Heteroptera, Corixidae, Cymatiainae, Corixinae) střední Evropy

Czech description

Byla studována žilnatina zadních křídel dvaceti dvou druhů klešťanek (Corixidae) ze střední Evropy. Nalezené znaky jsou srovnávány a ilustrovány. Ačkoli je žilnatina zadních křídel druhů podčeledí Cymatiainae a Corixinae relativně uniformní, interspecifické rozdíly morfologických a morfometrických znaků na úrovni rodů a podrodů byla zaznamenány. Rozdíly žilnatiny mezi druhy jednoho rodu jsou malé. Nebyly sice nalezeny zřetelné autapomorfie zadních křídel u jednotlivých rodů a podrodů, ale anagenetické trendy ve vývoji morfologie zadních křídel v rámci těchto kladů byly zaznamenány. Byla zároveň navržena reinterpretace homologizace žilnatiny zadních křídel odpovídající morfologii těchto struktur u Hemineoptera obecně.
