Original language description
This paper deals with the deposition of TiOx-based thin solid films and with the diagnostics of their photocatalytic activity. In the first part of the paper we describe the experimental device (radio frequency reactor working at low pressure) that was used for the deposition of thin layers. Afterwards the deposition process and obtained results are presented. Photocatalytic activity is studied by the change of the concentration of acid orange 7, whereas this quantity is measured by the change in optical spectra. Obtained data are compared with the spectrometry of a base sample that was in our case distilled water.
