Original language description

Present review summarized current research of anger coping from the perspective of gender differences. We proceeded step by step from the structure of anger coping, over influence of anger coping on somatic health, influence of anger coping on psychicalhealth, and finally we discussed the interpersonal domain of anger coping including dyadic interactions. Our attention was focused also on possible explanations of gender differences in anger coping, their origins, adaptability, and consequences. The main effort was given to the shift in the conceptualization of anger coping from the simple descriptions of coping mechanisms towards the interpersonal context where such explanations were expected to occur.
