Age structure of elite teams in ice hockey in world championships developed in dependencies on changes in competition organization. Some trends in this way however keep behind saved. Especially handle about players average age. In seventieth even eightieth years was player average age around 26 years. Lately happen to enhancement average age as far as on 28 years. It is evidently partly in virtue of competition organization changes, which already in present isn't so physical demanding as in the past. Very interesting is changing teams structure. In 70th. and 80th. stays the distribution by Gauss curves. Whereas in 90th. comes to changing the team structure to two peaking curve. Coaches very often selected players from two different groups. Player agesround 26 years, who have very good actual performance and player ages above 30 years old, who arrange games above all with their experiences, tactics and organization.
